In A Glimpse is a podcast that explores the intersection of awe and design. Cognitive science shows that experiences of awe are transformative, shifting mindsets towards greater pro sociality. This podcast examines how awe might be used as a tool to promote greater empathy and prosociality among designers and design processes. By blending personal experiences of interviewed design practitioners with scientific research about awe, this podcast aims to grant a glimpse of awe’s untapped potential for design. Season 1 focused on the intersection of awe, design, and empathy. Season 2 will focus on awe, design, and technology.
As the Design Assistant for A Glimpse podcast, I collaborated with the host/dedsigner to create digital assets supporting Season 2. My responsibilities included designing graphics for podcast episodes, social media, and the website, as well as assisting with website management and updates in Squarespace. Working across Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Squarespace, I contributed to an evolving visual identity while refining designs through collaboration and feedback.
The work featured below features and highlights my design contributions throughout one of the sets in the creative process. As the visual identity evolved, the final published assets were refined through collaboration and iteration.
